Strategy Source is proud to be a part of our communities where we live, work and play. We want to be an integral part, not only as an employer and business, but also as compassionate and impactful contributors within our communities.
Introducing the Serving Source. Every quarter, our employees take time out of their work day to give back to a local community organization. Giving back could be stocking goods at a food pantry, mentoring youth, cleaning up a roadside, or a number of other small acts that show care and kindness for where we live and work.
In January, our employees joined forces with Brother Benno’s in San Diego County. Brother Benno’s is a non-profit that relies on volunteers to run a food pantry, serves daily hot meals and sack lunches, offers clothing, and operates a 12-step recovery program. They also provide showers, hygiene items, laundry facilities, mail and telephone services.
Strategy Sourcers spent the day touring Brother Benno’s facility, sorting items for the Thrift Shop and talking with their talented onsite carpenters. These may seem like small, mundane activities, but when combined with the efforts of the 100s of other volunteers, allows this organization to continue to serve the San Diego community in incredibly impactful ways.
How can you make an impact your community? Small, every day acts can lead to big changes over time.
