With twenty years of strategic brand development, team building and mentoring, Jason Arena is a well rounded brand design and marketing professional. Jason has deep experience on both the agency and the client side possessing knowledge and understanding of design principles to accelerate business that can only come from a lifetime spend in the industry.
Jason is currently the founder of Photopia – an exciting new mobile platform that seeks to turn the photos in your smartphone into currency you can spend. The platform is built upon Artificial Intelligence and is currently in beta.
Prior to his new start-up, Jason held the position as Chief Marketing Officer for Northplains, a leader in Content Management Solutions. His responsibilities included working directly with their Private Equity Share-holders, CEO and CTO to reimagine the offering, refresh the UX, UI, and ultimately reposition the brand for purchase.
Prior to Northplains, Jason held two positions at OneKreate including Managing Director. While in his role, Jason was the visionary who transformed this profitable photo-studio into a technology driven, content creation platform. Working with the founder, Jason was the architect responsible for a merger with the firm’s largest competitor (Sandbox Studios) and simultaneous sale to private equity resulting in CreativeDrive, the world’s largest content creation platform operating in more than 20 cities in 12 countries.
Prior to OneKreate, Jason held the position of Global Vice President of Design and Packaging with Bayer Healthcare, where he was in charge of managing the brand of this $1B Diabetes Care business.
Jason is a graduate of Parsons School of Design. A Greenwich, Connecticut native, Jason enjoys international travel for work and play and tries to annually visit exciting destinations. When he’s not traveling, Jason resides in South Florida and can be found taking advantage of the tropical lifestyle on the beach, tennis court, and golf course.
