We are a powerful, location-based audience and insights platform that organizes a wide variety of consumer activity data around a precise location base map at massive scale. We use a detailed understanding of location and consumer activity to reach a targeted audience, and also to derive powerful insights about consumer behavior to inform market and business strategies for national brands. 

The Role:

Our  New York Account Executive will be responsible for growing revenue from new and existing media agencies, as well as advertisers based in the Tri-State region. We're specifically looking for a driven, autonomous individual with a proven sales track record and deep, established in-market relationships.

We have aggressive revenue targets for the region and we are looking for somebody who can hit the ground running and drive revenue immediately.  You should understand how to use creative thinking to solve client challenges. Ability to thrive in a rapidly growing and changing marketplace is a must, as is cross-platform experience with a focus on mobile media. You will focus not only on executing media campaigns, but also 'solution selling.' Understanding how our multi-faceted platform can help clients solve both their marketing challenges and help them understand who their customers are is key. We're not just selling media - we're a human behavior company helping advertisers learn about their audiences as they move through time and space.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Tri-State based agencies and advertisers, while building a book of business, executing a sales strategy and most importantly, driving revenue
  • Deliver against quarterly and semi-annual revenue targets
  • Work with Sales, Account Management and Ad Operations, to execute media campaigns aimed at growing revenue from new and existing customers
  • Be a mobile advertising and human behavior expert and evangelist for PlaceIQ in the Tri-State market
  • Be willing to dive into reporting and understand how to analyze and interpret location-based audience data
  • Provide accurate and regular forecasts and business updates to the RVP Sales, East
  • Develop deep relationships with a focus on generating new revenue opportunities
  • Create and maintain accurate and up to date Account and Opportunity plans

Requirements: 

  • Create and maintain accurate and up to date Account and Opportunity plans
  • Proven track record in Ad Sales with a focus on mobile advertising
  • Cross-platform experience - desktop, mobile, OOH and TV is preferable 
  • Passion for growing and managing complex relationships
  • Unflappable personality with a positive attitude and tireless work ethic
  • A robust network of contacts and relationships in the digital advertising industry
  • Able to present and communicate a value proposition in front of a large group of people. Dynamic presenter with the ability to 'own the room' 
  • Team player with a dynamic personality, excellent communication skills, strong planning and organizational capabilities
  • Able to seamlessly handle client objections and direct a conversation
  • Operationally focused with an ability to work well with account management and AdOps teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns and deliver against deadlines
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Google programs 
  • A passion for mobile, location, and 'big data'
  • Flexibility to travel for meetings, conferences, quarterly business reviews, etc
  • Experience selling enterprise and/or SaaS products
  • Ability to navigate and execute complex, longer sales-cycle deals
