The Digital Programmatic Campaign Manager will play a key role in two areas:

  • Manage online display and programmatic display media campaigns, including the launch/trafficking of a campaign, optimizing performance while the campaign is in flight, and
  • Manage the ad operations responsibilities involved with launching, managing and successfully delivering display ad campaigns across interactive properties and products

The Digital Advertising Operations Campaign Manager is a self-motivated individual who is passionate about online advertising operations, thrives in dynamic interactive environments and enjoys working on technical and analytical areas to support digital advertising campaign fulfillment, on both owned & operated media properties and particularly across programmatic exchanges.

The Digital Programmatic Campaign Manager will support the fulfillment of digital advertising campaigns in areas including:

  • Manage the QA, launch, and optimization of display media campaigns including, but is not limited to securing and testing campaign creative, accurately scheduling ads in ad serving environments, verifying all ad units are functioning properly and reporting correctly on internal and third party ad servers (to resolve and minimize potential reporting discrepancies), and monitoring campaign performance
  • Coordinate directly with third party ad servers, rich media vendors, clients and internal staff on all elements related to creative specifications, submission and ad trafficking
  • Deliver weekly display ad performance reports to the National Sales team partners, providing campaign performance analysis, insights and recommendations to the sales team to optimize the fulfillment of display media campaigns
  • Work with internal and external partners to reconcile end-of-month campaign delivery for billing purposes

 

Required qualifications:

  • 4 years of work experience managing online display & programmatic media campaigns
  • 1 year of work experience managing programmatic online display media campaigns
  • Experience with digital advertising sales processes and workflows
  • Persistent focus on exceeding client’s performance goals and customer service expectations, ensuring that maximum revenue is retained
  • Demonstrated experience working with colleagues to increase sales renewal rates, advertising spend and yield return from display ad inventory campaign optimization
  • Strong communicator who is comfortable working with local and remote teams via email, phone and IM, and has ability to effectively manage communication style up, across and down a management structure, within a diversely skilled organization; understanding of appropriateness concerning in person, vs email, vs phone commuication
  • Has a sense of humor, a positive attitude and thrives in fast-paced, ego-less interactive advertising sales environments
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, accountability and deadlines, with excellent organizational,communication, time-management, multi-tasking and project management capabilities

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Comfortable working in entrepreneurial environments and a strong team player
  • Experience with interpreting and communicating digital advertising campaign performance reporting results in a clear and effective manner
  • Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with ad servers and order management systems (Doubleclick DFP and Operative One preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of web analytics (Omniture, Web Analytics)
